Bit of a break from the usual tree works on this woodland project for a local school. We turned this derelict area into a small forest school for the kids to enjoy and learn about trees and nature.
The site had been left for some years and had become quite overgrown, so the first job was to clear all the overgrown understory and small trees. Some minor tree surgery work was carried out on the perimeter trees to ensure they were safe foe the children. All wood chips from the job were spread throughout the site, and the final touch done by our team including the construction of rustic benches that were milled on-site, and a firepit in the center.
The job was completed in a couple of days, and hopefully this will inspire some children to be future arborists to join our profession!
